SOUL CRAFT FOR WISE WOMEN LEADERS

Exclusive Programs for Seasoned Women Leaders at Mid Life and Beyond

What is Soul Craft?

The Birthing Cave
The Birthing Cave

While many people have trouble explaining what Soul is, most of us know what it means to look in the mirror and think something like, “if I do this one more day, or agree to this, or hear this, or allow this, I will lose my soul.” Soul, then, is the treasure of our essence and, if not nurtured, we lose at great cost to the quality of our lives.

Soul Craft for Wise Women Leaders and Mentors uses ancient wisdom tools, practices of eco-therapy, depth psychology, and intentional dialogue to access the deeper, essential “you” that exists now, at midlife and beyond.

Entering our wisdom years, we see our lives as a profound mystery and sacred journey. We know there is more time behind us than in front of us, and we don’t want to squander the precious time we have left. Aware of a nagging feeling that we are leaving something unfinished, we inventory our lists of accomplishments and unrealized dreams looking for answers.

We yearn to infuse more vitality and magic into our daily experiences as we seek ways to contribute our special gifts and talents in ways that illuminate and inspire others. To accomplish these, we must embark on a quest for insight and transformation.

We want richer, fuller lives even as we struggle to hold onto our sanity in a chaotic world we could never have imagined: global pandemic, widespread economic crises, unprecedented political divisions and social unrest – all at the same time.

“How do I deal with all this? How do I hold all this?” you ask yourself over and over. Here you will find a way through.

Meet Jamie

Jamie’s career as an internationally recognized organizational leadership consultant to Fortune 500 companies spans almost four decades.  As founder of Wisdom Councils consultancy, she advises presidents, CEOs, and their teams to design and implement large-scale strategic transformation initiatives and has worked with thousands of senior executives on four continents.

Her commitment to supporting women began early in her career as an educator at the Women’s Center at the University of Missouri and program director at a domestic violence and rape crisis center. Jamie was an early pioneer of the wilderness outdoor leadership programs for professional women.

During the 2008 global economic crisis, Jamie created Soul Craft for Wise Women Leaders as a valuable contribution to the field of leadership. Since then, hundreds of women have experienced and shared tools and practices mastered in her retreats and programs. Today, she advises both midlife and mid-career women as they thrive through the chaos of change and transformation of their personal and professional lives through her experiential retreats, virtual programs, and one-on-one coaching.

She splits her time between the magical red rock desert of Sedona, Arizona, and the enchanting, vibrant culture of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.

What my clients are saying

Meg Crofton
Retired President, Major division of Fortune 500 company, Board Member, Mentor, and Speaker

I have known Jamie for over 25 years in the roles of corporate leadership consultant, executive coach, team builder, mentor, guide and teacher. I have experienced personal and professional growth from every encounter through her unique approach and facilitation. I am deeply grateful for the opportunities Jamie has created for me to have deeper conversations with myself and others…to be more aware of where I am on the my life’s journey and more clear about where I want to go…and to be stronger and wiser in body, mind and spirit.

Every time I have chosen to give myself the “gift” of time with Jamie by attending one of her programs, I have realized that I am not being “selfish”, rather I enabled myself to give even more to others…as a leader and as a friend and family member. In Jamie’s words, I am becoming more of my “good, true, and beautiful self”.

It was an honor and privilege to be invited to participate in the amazing, thought-provoking experience of the first inaugural Sedona Women’s Retreat. I came expecting a miracle and was not disappointed. From the moment we sat around the wisdom circle surrounded by the beauty and majesty of the red rocks of Sedona, I let the atmosphere have its way with me.

Jamie guided us on a road to self-discovery and I found the next five days life-changing. Her warm and nurturing personality, coupled with many years of experience communing with nature, allowed all of the women to explore our real and authentic selves. I left feeling soul’s sensitivity and balance had been recharged.

I was thrilled when Jamie told me of her newest program, Leadership Soul Craft for Wise Women Leaders. The reason is two-fold:  what she offers to the world for those at midlife who are searching for the motivation and direction on the next chapter of their lives is priceless; and me – to help stimulate and validate that what I am doing now is what I am destined to do at this time in my life.

I’ve continued to be inspired by Jamie for more than 15 years.  We explored Egypt together a couple of years ago.  Standing in awe and marveling at the 1000 year-old Pyramids of Giza then sailing down the Nile River only intensified my desire to never stop learning and exploring, and being with Jamie was a true treasure. She is the “real deal” and those of us who are lucky enough to be counted in her intimate circle of ladies are truly blessed.

“The Sedona retreat attracted wise, powerful and international women. I wondered what we could learn in four days together in nature. Sedona worked its quiet subtle magic, and I came home smiling about my deepened sense of connection with myself, friends, the land, and life, itself. The Sedona Women’s Retreat is special. I continue to be surprised about the insight I gained to claim my role as an Honorable Elder and began incorporating my learning from the retreat which continues to this day. The land is magical; the women attracted to this experience are awesome and willing to explore the unknown in themselves and the group. Jamie’s connection to the earth and incredible writings allow her gentle power to make her an extraordinary teacher and guide and make this an incredible experience.“

How I work with clients

How I work with clients

My clients are professional women who have led successful satisfying careers but who sense an internal shift into an important life passage that signals the beginning of their “third act”. Valuing personal development as part of their career journey, they have accumulated a treasure of leadership acumen. Now, they want to “dive deeper” and explore the interior gifts of the Soul. They have high expectations and they want results.

My approach is highly personal and provocative. I am considerate, respectful and will provide supportive ways for you to engage and participate. You’ll find our time together challenging and insightful. My clients expect no less. I ask everyone to commit to three guidelines: participate, be responsible, and have fun!

I have been called teacher, healer, guide, trusted advisor, consultant, therapist, coach, mentor, ceremonialist, storyteller, and wise woman. The fact is I wear all these hats when I practice my craft. I combine my background in eco-therapy, depth psychology, family systems and earth-based wisdom traditions with my more conventional training as an organizational systems consultant. So you are getting, so to speak, the best of both worlds; a creative non-traditionalist with a traditional results orientation.
